Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong OTM Lead to spearhead Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solution design, configuration, and implementation efforts for our global supply chain operations. The OTM Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and system integrators to lead OTM modules from blueprint to go-live, ensuring alignment with organizational transportation, logistics, and ERP strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) modules such as Order Management, Shipment Planning, Freight Settlement, and Rate Management
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all OTM-related functionality across global logistics projects
- Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and OTM configurations
- Oversee and support integrations with external systems including Oracle EBS/Cloud ERP, WMS, EDI interfaces, and third-party logistics providers
- Provide leadership during testing phases (SIT, UAT), cutover planning, training, and post-go-live support
- Document business process flows, functional specs, and configuration workbooks
- Lead and mentor internal and external functional and technical teams on OTM best practices
- Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and functional enhancements throughout project life cycles
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (Cloud or on-premise)
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end OTM implementations including configuration, migration, and integration
- Deep knowledge of OTM functional areas: Planning, Execution, Freight Payment, Rate Management, and GTM (preferred)
- Strong understanding of transportation and logistics business processes across multiple industries
- Proficiency in SQL and technical debugging related to OTM issues
- Excellent stakeholder communication and team leadership skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Cloud Transportation Certification (OTM Cloud)
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Prior experience in integrating OTM with Oracle EBS/Cloud SCM or third-party logistics providers
- International logistics and customs compliance knowledge a plus
