About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Signal Analysis Researcher to join our advanced research and development team. In this role, you will explore, analyze, and model real-world signals—such as audio, radio frequency (RF), radar, biomedical, or sensor data—to extract meaningful insights, develop algorithms, and contribute to the innovation of signal-based systems across industries.
You will work with interdisciplinary teams to push the boundaries of applied signal processing, machine learning, and data fusion techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement signal analysis algorithms for detection, classification, anomaly detection, or compression
- Work with time-series, RF, acoustic, seismic, EEG/ECG, or other structured waveform datasets
- Apply statistical and spectral methods (e.g., FFT, wavelets, filtering, pattern recognition) to extract signal features
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and domain experts to develop hybrid signal-AI solutions
- Contribute to the development of robust, real-time signal processing pipelines
- Publish research findings, create technical documentation, and participate in patent filings where applicable
- Support software integration, simulation, and performance evaluation in lab or field environments
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline
- 3–8 years of hands-on experience in signal processing or analysis
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python (NumPy/SciPy), or C/C++ for algorithm development
- Strong understanding of signal theory: time/frequency domain analysis, filters, transforms, stochastic processes
- Experience working with data from sensors, RF systems, audio/voice, imaging, or biomedical devices
- Ability to clearly communicate findings through technical reports and presentations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI/ML integration (e.g., using scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow) in signal workflows
- Familiarity with embedded or real-time systems (e.g., FPGA, DSP chips, microcontrollers)
- Domain expertise in radar/sonar, speech/audio analytics, IoT sensing, or biosignals
- Prior experience in defense, healthcare, telecommunications, or aerospace industries
What We Offer:
- A collaborative, research-driven environment at the intersection of engineering and AI
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge signal analysis applications with real-world impact
- Competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, and professional development support
- Flexible work arrangements and modern toolkits
- Opportunities for publication, patent support, and conference participation
