About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Data Scientist to join our CRM & Customer Intelligence team. In this role, you will develop advanced models and actionable insights that power personalized marketing, customer engagement, lifecycle optimization, and retention strategies. You’ll partner closely with CRM, marketing, product, and engineering teams to drive data-informed decisions that enhance customer value and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy machine learning and statistical models for customer segmentation, targeting, churn prediction, CLTV (Customer Lifetime Value), and personalization
  • Optimize and measure the impact of CRM campaigns (email, push, SMS, in-app) using A/B testing, uplift modeling, and attribution analysis
  • Analyze customer journey data to identify conversion barriers, drop-offs, and upsell opportunities
  • Build predictive scoring models and recommendation engines that integrate into marketing automation platforms
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to inform CRM strategies using data insights
  • Monitor model performance and continuously iterate based on feedback and results
  • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science roles, with strong exposure to CRM, retention, or marketing analytics
  • Proficient in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy) and SQL
  • Deep understanding of supervised learning techniques, segmentation, clustering, and statistical inference
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms and knowledge of experimental design principles
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable business strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Braze, Iterable, or Adobe Campaign
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools (Airflow, MLflow, etc.)
  • Background in e-commerce, fintech, SaaS, media, or app-based businesses
  • Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) and behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude)
