About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and solution-focused Production Support Data Analyst to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining data processes and pipelines in a production environment. You will work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and end users to ensure timely data delivery, system reliability, and data quality across business-critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily data workflows, reports, and dashboards for anomalies, delays, and failures
- Investigate and resolve data issues by identifying root causes and working with engineering teams when necessary
- Respond to and manage tickets or support requests related to data delivery, integrity, and access
- Execute ad hoc data queries and support business users with timely insights and reporting
- Maintain documentation related to recurring issues, support procedures, and incident response
- Collaborate with QA, development, and operations teams to continuously improve data reliability and system uptime
- Ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met and escalate critical incidents as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in a data support, operations, or analytics role
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying large relational databases
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Airflow, DataDog, Grafana) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ETL tools, data pipelines, or workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Informatica)
- Working knowledge of Python or shell scripting for automation
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Exposure to business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Prior experience in fintech, e-commerce, or enterprise SaaS support teams is a plus
