About the Role:
We are looking for a data-driven and detail-oriented People Analytics Data Analyst for a short-term engagement. This role will support the People/HR team by analyzing workforce data to generate insights that improve employee experience, organizational performance, and strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with HR, talent, and operations teams to deliver actionable dashboards and analytics on key workforce metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze people-related data such as attrition, retention, engagement, hiring, and performance
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Work closely with HR and talent teams to define KPIs and deliver custom reports
  • Clean, structure, and validate data from various HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Greenhouse)
  • Translate insights into narratives that inform decisions and strategic planning
  • Assist in short-term projects such as compensation analysis, DEI metrics, and workforce planning

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, HR Analytics, Business, Statistics, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within HR or people analytics
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python or R is a plus
  • Experience with HR systems and people data (e.g., headcount, tenure, surveys)
  • Strong data storytelling and visualization skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Experience working with confidential HR data and understanding of data privacy principles (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Knowledge of workforce analytics frameworks and DEI metrics
  • Prior work in an HR/People Analytics team or similar project-based role
