About the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Manager of Data Analysis to lead our Customer Core analytics team. In this role, you’ll oversee a team of analysts dedicated to understanding customer behavior, segmentation, lifecycle, and engagement across our core product and service offerings. Your insights will directly influence marketing, product development, and customer experience strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts focused on customer-centric analysis
- Own reporting and analytics on key customer metrics: acquisition, retention, churn, lifetime value (LTV), and satisfaction
- Develop customer segmentation models to support personalization, marketing, and journey optimization
- Build and maintain dashboards and data pipelines in collaboration with data engineering and BI teams
- Translate complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, CX, and Strategy teams
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance across all customer datasets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years managing teams
- Proficiency in SQL and analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Excel)
- Experience with BI/reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
- Deep understanding of customer metrics and behavioral analytics
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of influencing stakeholders
- Ability to balance hands-on data work with team management and strategic leadership
Preferred:
- Experience in a customer-focused role within e-commerce, SaaS, fintech, or subscription services
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping, experimentation, and cohort analysis
- Exposure to machine learning or predictive modeling is a plus
