About the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Biostatistician to support research and analytics across clinical trials, epidemiological studies, and public health programs. This role involves statistical modeling, data wrangling, and results interpretation in a scientific or medical setting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, epidemiologists, data managers, and regulatory staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute statistical analysis plans for clinical, biomedical, or health outcomes data
- Clean, manage, and analyze datasets from trials, observational studies, or EHRs
- Apply statistical techniques including regression, survival analysis, longitudinal modeling, etc.
- Collaborate on protocol development, sample size estimation, and study design planning
- Generate tables, listings, and figures for manuscripts, reports, and regulatory filings
- Contribute to academic publications and presentations at scientific meetings
- Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), SOPs, and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ICH)
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, or STATA)
- Experience analyzing clinical or health-related datasets (RCTs, cohort studies, registries, etc.)
- Strong understanding of study design, bias, confounding, and causal inference
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CDISC, SDTM, and ADaM datasets (for clinical trials)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, ggplot2, etc.)
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and data privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Background in life sciences, public health, pharma, or CRO environment
