About the Role:
A premier Indian dining destination in Alpharetta is seeking a visionary Executive Chef to lead its culinary program. This is a rare opportunity to take the helm of a high-end, modern Indian kitchen that blends traditional flavors with refined techniques and presentation.
The ideal candidate will bring creativity, leadership, and deep knowledge of Indian regional cuisines—from tandoori and biryani to modern street food interpretations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute seasonal menus reflecting authentic Indian flavors with modern flair
- Manage kitchen operations, including food prep, quality control, hygiene, and staffing
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Maintain food cost controls, vendor relationships, and inventory systems
- Collaborate with owners and front-of-house team on guest experience and special events
- Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of professional culinary experience, with at least 2 years as Executive Chef
- Mastery of Indian cuisine – North, South, regional specialties, and fusion
- Strong leadership and team-building skills in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of kitchen budgeting, menu costing, and ordering systems
- Formal culinary training or degree (preferred but not mandatory)
- Passion for innovation, plating, and presentation
