About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced India-based Human Resources (HR) professional for a short-term remote project. You will support key HR functions including hiring coordination, documentation, onboarding, and local compliance for Indian operations. This is an excellent opportunity for HR freelancers or consultants looking to contribute to a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment, screening, and scheduling interviews for India-based roles
- Manage onboarding documents (offer letters, contracts, NDAs) in compliance with Indian labor laws
- Coordinate with hiring managers and candidates to ensure smooth onboarding
- Provide HR administrative support including database updates and compliance tracking
- Offer guidance on Indian employment practices and labor regulations
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of HR experience (recruitment, onboarding, HR ops) within Indian organizations or MNCs
- Strong understanding of Indian employment norms, PF/ESIC, and statutory documentation
- Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace; experience with HR tools (Zoho People, BambooHR, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Available to start immediately or within short notice
Preferred:
- Prior experience supporting global or remote-first teams
- Familiarity with freelance/contract hiring processes in India
- HR certification or degree in HRM (a plus)
