About the Role:
The EliteJob is hiring an experienced and passionate North Indian Chef to join a private household or premium hospitality setting. We’re looking for someone skilled in traditional and modern North Indian cuisine, with a strong sense of hygiene, presentation, and creativity in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare authentic North Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options
- Plan daily meals according to family or guest preferences
- Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness at all times
- Manage grocery planning, inventory, and kitchen supplies
- Adapt dishes based on dietary needs (low oil/spice, gluten-free, etc.)
- Present food aesthetically and ensure consistent quality
- Occasionally prepare snacks or fusion/continental dishes as requested
Requirements:
- Proven experience (3–8 years) as a North Indian Chef in a household, hotel, or restaurant
- Strong knowledge of regional spices, ingredients, and traditional recipes
- Clean, well-organized, and disciplined in kitchen work
- Understanding of hygiene, kitchen safety, and food storage
- Polite, respectful, and professional attitude
- Willingness to relocate or live-in (if applicable)
Preferred:
- Ability to cook other Indian regional or basic continental cuisines
- Previous experience working in premium homes or luxury hospitality
- Ability to read or follow recipe instructions in English or Hindi
