About the Role:
USA Winzons is seeking a visionary Chief NLP Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge natural language processing models across our AI-powered hiring and HR platforms. This role will combine hands-on research with high-level technical strategy, guiding a team of talented ML/NLP engineers and collaborating across product, engineering, and executive teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead the development of advanced NLP models (LLMs, transformers, semantic search, generative AI)
- Guide research in areas such as multilingual understanding, prompt optimization, model compression, and explainability
- Oversee the full NLP pipeline: data preprocessing, model design, training, evaluation, and deployment
- Build scalable solutions for résumé parsing, job-matching, chatbots, and recommendation systems
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a world-class team of scientists and engineers
- Represent the company in academic and industry communities (conferences, white papers, patents)
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in NLP research and product-focused development
- Deep expertise in LLMs, transformers (e.g., BERT, RoBERTa, GPT), embeddings, and vector databases
- Strong knowledge of Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face
- Experience deploying NLP models at scale in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proven leadership and team-building skills in fast-paced R&D environments
Preferred:
- Experience building NLP systems for HRTech, EdTech, or job marketplaces
- Publications in top conferences (ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Contributions to open-source AI/NLP tools or libraries
