• Oversee touring retail logistics, including liaising with local management on staffing requirements, and overall selling logistics including displays, merchandise training, etc.
• From time to time, will be responsible for having creative conversations with talent regarding merchandise ideas and communicating with creative teams.
• Manage and track inventory and submit accurate inventory reports.
• Oversee local sales associates as required.
• Oversee merchandise count in and count out process
• Maintain cash and credit card receipts and submit daily and weekly accountings and deposits.
• Liaise with local management to ensure efficient retail operations.
• Use spreadsheets provided by Fanatics to agree with inventory counts.
• Assist the arena staff and/or design and build merchandise displays that are up to Fanatics standards
• Provide any assistance needed throughout the event that the staffing or customers may need.
• At the end of the evening conduct a full count out with the arena staffing and fill out a detailed spreadsheet.
• Provide Fanatics team the spreadsheet with detailed notes of the event, that may include ways to improve the operations.
Requirements:
• 2+ year’s experience
• Communication Skills: Will need to effectively communicate with coworkers and arena staffing on a regular basis to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
• Leadership Skills: road operations managers will need to assist arena staffing with displays, communication with fans and resolve conflicts if they arise.
• Organizational Skills: Assist the other road team as well as the office team with the event merchandise selections, booking travel, detailed notes following the events, as well as product suggestions based on storyline/feedback from fans, etc
• Understanding of various retail executions, technologies and KPI’s
• Ability to analyze data, and develop strategies to address opportunities
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and technical skills (Excel, Access, Zoom, PowerPoint, Adobe, Outlook)
• Ability to lift 50lbs minimum
• Travel (including overnight stays) will be required as needed to support events (~70% travel)
