Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a critical manual migration project. You will be responsible for transferring customer and service data from one billing system to another with extreme accuracy. This task is repetitive and requires someone with patience, focus, and the ability to follow structured processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Log into the existing billing platform.
- Manually enter customer data and service details into the new platform.
- Follow specific formatting, naming conventions, and procedures for each entry.
- Cross-check your work to ensure complete and accurate migration.
- Maintain and update progress in a shared Google Sheet or tracking system.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the project lead promptly.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with manual data entry or administrative tasks.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to closely follow detailed instructions and checklists.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High level of trust and ability to handle sensitive customer data securely.
Nice to Have (Bonus Points):
- Familiarity with WHMCS, Clientexec, or other billing/hosting management platforms.
- Availability to start immediately.
- Capacity to commit at least 20 hours per week, with flexibility for more.
