About the Role:
We are seeking an Intermediate Backend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at USA Winzons. This position offers the opportunity to work on our cutting-edge platform, where you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining robust data systems, ensuring seamless performance, and delivering innovative solutions to support business growth.
As a Backend Engineer, you will focus on building scalable, high-performance APIs, developing backend infrastructure, and integrating data systems. You will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that improve our platform’s capabilities, while also ensuring that our clients receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend infrastructure and APIs that support high-performance systems
- Build and optimize data pipelines to ensure data integrity, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and data teams to define technical solutions
- Work with databases, including relational, NoSQL, and data lakes to structure and manage data effectively
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues across multiple components of the backend systems
- Participate in code reviews and provide guidance to junior engineers to maintain coding standards
- Maintain high standards of software quality and security in all areas of backend development
- Continuously stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in backend development with a focus on building scalable systems
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Hands-on experience with data systems, including relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB), and cloud storage systems
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote environment
