The Swing Shift Residential Coordinator is a key member of our Santa Barbara Interim Housing team. This role ensures a safe and structured living environment for residents during swing shift hours, while offering support, enforcing guidelines, and assisting with basic client needs.

• Monitor facility and resident activity during the swing shift
• Conduct regular room checks and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Respond to emergencies, de-escalate situations, and document incidents
• Support new client intakes and orientation
• Collaborate with case managers and residential staff
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas
• Accurately record notes and shift logs

• High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework in social work or human services is a plus
• Experience working with populations experiencing homelessness or behavioral challenges
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and de-escalate conflicts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Available to work evening/swing shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Valid California driver’s license preferred
