We are seeking a strategic and experienced Associate Director, Surest Benefit Strategist to join our team remotely. As a key member of our leadership group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, implementing, and optimizing benefit strategies for our clients. In this remote role, you will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions that enhance the impact and effectiveness of our benefits programs.

• Benefit Strategy Leadership: Lead the development and execution of benefit strategies for Surest, ensuring they align with client goals and objectives.
• Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, offering ongoing guidance and insights to help them optimize their benefits offerings.
• Market Analysis: Analyze trends in healthcare benefits, staying informed about new developments, and adjusting strategies to ensure competitive advantage.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with product, operations, and analytics teams to translate business and client needs into actionable benefit plans and strategies.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of benefits strategies and provide actionable recommendations to clients for continuous improvement.
• Project Management: Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert in benefit strategy, providing insights to clients and internal teams and representing the company at industry events and conferences.
• Compliance & Regulatory Awareness: Stay up to date with relevant healthcare and benefits regulations, ensuring strategies comply with all applicable laws and guidelines.

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in benefits strategy, healthcare management, or related fields, with a proven track record of leading and optimizing benefits programs
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects
• Strategic Thinking: Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities, with a focus on client success and operational efficiency
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive strategy
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and actionable manner
• Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients to understand their needs, and to provide tailored solutions that drive results
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare benefits, market trends, and regulatory requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications preferred)
• Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with Surest or similar healthcare benefit platforms
  • Previous experience in a senior benefits strategy or consultant role
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models and benefit designs
