About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Security Infrastructure Management: Monitor, maintain, and improve the organization’s security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Incident Response: Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and perform remediation activities to minimize impact on operations.
- Vulnerability Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities across systems and networks to maintain a secure infrastructure.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure the organization is compliant with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify potential threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, DevOps, and legal, to ensure security best practices are followed and effectively communicate security posture to stakeholders.
- Security Tools & Solutions: Assist with the implementation and configuration of various security tools, including endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, and network monitoring systems.
- Training & Awareness: Educate employees on security best practices and conduct training to raise awareness about emerging security threats.

Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a security administration role, with hands-on experience in network security, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms
- Certifications: Security-related certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management, and cybersecurity best practices
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving security-related incidents and technical issues
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies
- Knowledge of network protocols and security architectures
- Languages: Fluency in English, both written and spoken (other languages are a plus)
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address security issues quickly and efficiently
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
