Job Summary:
USA Winzons is seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project finance management, a deep understanding of financial regulations, and the ability to oversee financial operations for our projects in the US. This position offers the flexibility to work from Cyprus, with the possibility of remote or hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial management of US-based projects, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and financial regulations
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasting, and financial statements for project performance
- Monitor project financials and provide recommendations to improve cost control and budget management
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial objectives are met and projects are delivered within budget
- Conduct financial risk assessments and provide strategies to mitigate financial risks in project execution
- Maintain and improve financial controls and reporting processes for ongoing projects
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and reporting for project clients
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes for project financials
- Assist in the preparation of financial proposals and bids for new projects
- Provide financial support and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance or financial controlling roles
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and project financial management
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (ERP systems, Excel, etc.)
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience in managing multi-country financial operations, with knowledge of US financial standards
- Fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA)
- Experience with international project finance and cross-border financial regulations
- Knowledge of US tax laws and regulations related to international finance
