As an expert, you will play a crucial role in shaping the identity and access management strategies for our clients and internal systems.
Role Overview:
As the IAM Expert SME, you will be responsible for managing and implementing identity and access management solutions for our clients and internal systems. Your expertise will ensure secure, efficient, and compliant systems that safeguard user access across various platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide the strategic direction for IAM initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of IAM systems, solutions, and strategies
- Ensure the secure and efficient management of user identities and their access privileges
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for IAM security
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Perform regular audits and reviews of access control systems to identify and address security vulnerabilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance on IAM-related technologies, tools, and strategies
- Assist in resolving complex IAM issues and troubleshooting access-related problems
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in IAM and cybersecurity
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Expertise in IAM tools and technologies (e.g., Okta, Microsoft Active Directory, SailPoint, etc.)
- Strong understanding of identity governance, authentication protocols, SSO, MFA, and RBAC
- In-depth knowledge of security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)
- Proven track record in IAM system design, implementation, and optimization
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- IAM certifications (e.g., Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), CISSP, CISM) are a plus
