USA WINZONS is looking for a skilled DB2 Database Developer with iSeries (AS/400) expertise to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will work closely with business analysts, application developers, and system architects to build, maintain, and optimize database systems critical to business operations.

• Develop, design, and maintain DB2 databases on iSeries (AS/400) platforms
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between applications and databases
• Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and security management
• Conduct database migrations, backups, and disaster recovery planning
• Document database structures, processes, and best practices
• Support application upgrades and system enhancements impacting database systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with DB2 on iSeries (AS/400)
• Strong proficiency in SQL, RPG programming knowledge is a plus
• Experience in database design, normalization, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with data security standards and compliance best practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience with modernization of legacy systems
• Familiarity with integration tools and data transfer technologies (e.g., ETL tools)
• Knowledge of IBM iSeries administration
