Position Overview:

The Virtual Assistant will be responsible for uploading and formatting content to WordPress websites. You will work closely with the content team to ensure that all posts, pages, and media are uploaded accurately and in line with brand guidelines. This is a Contract to Hire position, with the opportunity for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Upload and format blog posts, pages, and media to WordPress.
  • Ensure proper use of SEO best practices (meta tags, alt text for images, etc.).
  • Organize and manage the WordPress media library for easy access and retrieval.
  • Work with the content team to meet deadlines and maintain a consistent flow of content.
  • Perform regular website audits to ensure content is up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to WordPress uploads.
  • Assist in back-end tasks related to content management (e.g., updating plugins, themes).
  • Ensure all content uploaded is visually appealing, functional, and mobile-friendly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with WordPress content management system.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for formatting content.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices for content optimization.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and other collaboration tools.
  • Previous experience with content uploading or as a Virtual Assistant is a plus.
