As an IT Infrastructure / Secure File Transfer Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company’s IT infrastructure with a primary focus on ensuring secure and efficient file transfer processes. You will work closely with IT teams to implement, configure, and optimize solutions for file transfers across the network while ensuring data security and compliance.

• Design, implement, and maintain secure file transfer solutions using industry-standard protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, and FTP.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues related to IT infrastructure and file transfer protocols.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, and other data protection regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet both security and performance requirements.
• Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure, servers, and security systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement and manage data encryption and secure communication protocols to safeguard sensitive information during transfers.
• Conduct regular security audits and identify potential vulnerabilities in file transfer systems.
• Provide technical support and training to team members and clients regarding secure file transfer best practices.

• Proven experience working with IT infrastructure and file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, FTP, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of data encryption, network security, and file transfer management.
• Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and other data privacy standards.
• Expertise in firewall management, VPNs, and data protection technologies.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructures and secure data storage solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network performance and file transfers.
• Excellent communication skills to work with internal teams and external clients.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with automation tools and file transfer monitoring solutions is a plus.
