We are currently looking for an Inclusive Workforce Development Coordinator (Contractual) to drive impactful diversity and inclusion programs and services for the school district’s staff and broader community.

This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of a more inclusive and equitable workforce in one of the leading public school systems in the United States.

As an Inclusive Workforce Development Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and implement workforce development initiatives with a strong focus on diversity, inclusion, and equity. You will work closely with school administrators, HR professionals, and community stakeholders to create a supportive and diverse environment for employees at Baltimore County Public Schools.

This is a contractual, full-time position that requires a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

• Develop, implement, and monitor strategies for workforce development programs aimed at fostering an inclusive and diverse workforce.
• Collaborate with human resources, department heads, and administrators to integrate diversity and inclusion practices into all recruitment, retention, and employee development programs.
• Create and maintain reporting systems to track the progress of diversity initiatives and their impact on the workforce.
• Coordinate training and workshops on diversity, equity, and inclusion for staff members.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to school administrators on best practices for inclusive workforce strategies.
• Identify and address barriers to equal opportunities for underrepresented groups within the workforce.
• Serve as the liaison between Baltimore County Public Schools and community-based organizations focused on workforce development and inclusivity.
• Stay updated on best practices and trends in diversity and inclusion and workforce development.
• Work on community outreach initiatives to build stronger relationships with diverse populations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Previous experience in workforce development, human resources, or diversity and inclusion roles.
• Strong knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, particularly in the public sector.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to implement strategies for improving diversity in the workforce.
