Position Overview:

As an eBay Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their eBay inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring they have an exceptional shopping experience. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for resolving customer concerns, handling product inquiries, and providing solutions with a focus on service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional, timely, and accurate customer support for eBay-related inquiries via chat, email, and phone.
  • Resolve customer issues related to product orders, returns, refunds, shipping, and other eBay transactions.
  • Manage and update customer records within the eBay platform.
  • Address and follow up on customer complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless transactions and customer satisfaction.
  • Guide customers through product searches, ordering processes, and tracking shipments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements based on customer feedback.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about eBay’s policies, promotions, and best practices.
  • Handle customer escalation cases and ensure proper resolution.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in e-commerce or related industries.
  • Experience with the eBay platform and understanding of its processes is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Empathetic, patient, and able to handle challenging customer situations with professionalism.
  • Proficient with computers, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize tasks.
