Position Overview:
As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will oversee critical technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage client communications, and navigate technical challenges with a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with client needs and strategic objectives.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and risks.
- Collaborate with software developers, architects, designers, and stakeholders to ensure clear project understanding and expectations.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks through effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Communicate project updates and critical issues to internal teams and external clients clearly and consistently.
- Ensure all technical requirements are met and maintain high standards for quality assurance and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of technical project management experience, ideally with software development or IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies (PMP or Scrum certification preferred).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong technical background and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in project management tools (such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience as a freelancer or consultant is a plus.
