About the Role:
As an SMB Acquisition Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs). You will focus on building relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive their success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the SMB sector, and thrive in a remote, goal-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and target potential SMB clients through outbound prospecting, networking, and inbound leads.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to close new business and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Customer Needs Analysis: Conduct discovery calls and meetings with prospective clients to understand their pain points and recommend the right solutions.
  • Sales Presentations & Demos: Deliver engaging sales presentations and product demos that highlight the value of our solutions to SMBs.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts to ensure long-term success.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations, close deals, and guide clients through the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product, to ensure seamless sales and customer experience.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, competitive offerings, and SMB customer needs to better position our solutions.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, provide regular reports, and adjust strategies to meet and exceed targets.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on acquiring SMB clients in a remote or field-based sales role.
  • Proven success in prospecting, lead generation, and closing new business in a competitive sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of the SMB market and the unique challenges faced by small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
