About the Role:
As a Freelance Molecular Informatics Scientist, you will work independently to analyze and interpret molecular data, employing advanced computational techniques and informatics tools. Your role will involve applying bioinformatics and molecular modeling to solve complex scientific challenges in areas such as drug discovery, genomics, and biotechnology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform computational analysis of molecular data, including sequencing data, protein structure, and genetic variations.
- Develop and apply molecular modeling techniques to analyze and interpret large-scale biological data sets.

Qualifications:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in molecular informatics, bioinformatics, or computational biology.
- Strong expertise in molecular modeling, data analysis, and the use of bioinformatics tools (e.g., BLAST, R, Python, MATLAB, etc.).
- Experience working with large biological datasets, including genomic, proteomic, and transcriptomic data.
- Familiarity with molecular dynamics simulations, protein structure prediction, and systems biology.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and bioinformatics software (e.g., Galaxy, GROMACS, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present scientific data and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote, freelance environment.
