About the Role:
As the Client Director – AWS, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, ensuring that AWS solutions are effectively implemented and meet their business goals. You will serve as a strategic advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on cloud architecture, AWS best practices, and cloud adoption strategies. Your role will involve managing a team of technical professionals and working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to deliver exceptional AWS-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, serving as the primary point of contact for AWS-related services.
- Lead and manage the delivery of AWS cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and the successful execution of projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud architectures that meet the unique needs of clients.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients on AWS adoption, including cloud migration, optimization, and cost management.
- Monitor project performance and ensure timely delivery, providing ongoing support to clients and addressing any concerns.
- Act as a thought leader in AWS technologies, keeping up-to-date with the latest AWS offerings and trends.
- Lead client presentations and discussions, demonstrating the value of AWS solutions and cloud technologies.
- Develop proposals, RFP responses, and business cases for new cloud initiatives, highlighting the benefits of AWS.
- Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, helping them develop their AWS expertise and grow within the company.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional AWS services and solutions, driving revenue growth.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to expand the client base and identify new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on AWS services.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering complex cloud projects.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, cloud architecture, and cloud migration strategies.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team of technical professionals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to identify client needs, create tailored solutions, and drive business growth.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.
