We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the quality assurance processes and contribute to improving product quality and efficiency across various departments.
About the Role:
As the Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for managing the QA team, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and improving processes to enhance the quality of our deliverables. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products and services meet customer expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the quality assurance team, ensuring all products and services meet quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and policies across departments.
- Coordinate with other departments, including development, product management, and customer support, to ensure that quality standards are integrated into the workflow.
- Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of quality assurance tests to evaluate the functionality, performance, and reliability of products and services.
- Analyze QA data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement in product quality.
- Develop and deliver regular reports on quality assurance activities, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
- Provide training and support to team members on QA processes, tools, and techniques.
- Manage, mentor, and guide the QA team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with management to define quality objectives and develop action plans to achieve them.
- Review customer feedback and collaborate with teams to ensure that any issues are addressed and resolved promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, testing tools, and best practices.
- Experience with manual and automated testing processes.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and relevant standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and recommend improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software is a plus.
