We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Development Specialist III to join our team at the Nānākuli Teen Center. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mentorship, youth programs, and community empowerment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging and age-appropriate programs for teens ages 13–18
- Serve as a mentor and positive role model, promoting leadership and life skills
- Coordinate academic support, enrichment activities, and recreational events
- Track participant progress and manage program attendance records
- Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive teen center environment
- Supervise junior staff or volunteers as needed

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with youth in educational or community settings
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Youth Development, or related field preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Culturally aware and community-oriented
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends
