We’re currently seeking a Product Information Specialist to help manage and optimize product data across platforms.
Position Overview:
As a Product Information Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all product data is complete, accurate, and optimized for various sales channels. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, merchandising, and IT, to enhance product content and drive customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update product data across e-commerce platforms, internal systems, and vendor portals
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product attributes (descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, etc.)
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to gather and validate product information
- Optimize product listings for SEO and user experience
- Support catalog creation and assist with product launches
- Audit and clean up existing product information to align with current standards
- Help implement and manage Product Information Management (PIM) systems or processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in product data management, merchandising, or content coordination
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Magento)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Excel and data entry/management tools
- Knowledge of SEO principles and product taxonomy best practices
- Experience with PIM systems (preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
