We are currently expanding our Warranty & QA team and seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer who is passionate about field operations and upholding our high standards in service and quality assurance.
Position Summary
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support in the field, managing warranty claims, and ensuring product quality standards are met across installations. You will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to diagnose, repair, and report on equipment performance, while identifying opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.
- Investigate and resolve warranty claims and ensure compliance with warranty policies.
- Perform quality assurance audits on installations and maintenance processes.
- Report quality issues, suggest design or process improvements, and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Maintain documentation for field reports, service records, and warranty logs.
- Provide training and guidance to technicians and end-users when required.
- Act as the customer’s technical advocate, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
- Analyze data from field visits to identify trends or recurring problems.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or quality assurance roles.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites across India.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and field reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with consumer electronics, machinery, or industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with ISO quality standards and customer complaint handling.
- ERP or CRM system knowledge is a plus.
