Job Summary:

The HRIS Specialist (Human Resources Information Systems Specialist) plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the organization’s HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to streamline HR processes, enhance data accuracy, and support merger integration activities. This position involves collaborating with various HR, IT, and finance stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and utilization of HRIS solutions.

Responsibilities:
• HRIS Administration:
• Support the daily operation, continuous improvement, and maintenance of the HRIS
• The designated point of escalation and case management contact for all HRIS tickets via the HRIS vendor
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in HR databases by conducting regular audits and implementing data cleansing procedures
• Configure and customize HRIS modules to align with organizational needs and compliance requirements
• Implementation and Upgrades:
• Collaborate, execute, and monitor the implementation of new HRIS modules or system upgrades
• Test and troubleshoot system enhancements to ensure seamless integration and functionality
• User Support and Training:
• Provide training to HR and other relevant staff on HRIS functionality, features, and best practices
• Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and issues, offering timely and effective support
• Support data integrity and report access for HRIS reports to support HR and management decision-making
• Compliance and Security:
• Stay informed about changes in labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices to ensure HRIS compliance
• Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard sensitive HR data
• Integration and Interoperability:
• Collaborate and maintain cross functional API connections to HRIS as system of record
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the HRIS to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Work with stakeholders to redesign and optimize HR processes as needed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as an HRIS Specialist or in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of UKG Pro, benefits configuration, and system change management practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
