As a data analyst mid or senior on the Claims Control Staffing and Efficiency team, you’ll provide strategic staffing guidance to the Property Claims organization and the broader National Resolution Zone (NRZ) group. You’ll handle ad hoc data requests, analyze the impact of changes in claims-handling processes, and collaborate with leaders to develop and implement effective staffing plans. Also, you’ll develop and analyze critical staffing metrics such as productivity, cycle time, and inventory, and present your valuable insights to senior leadership. In this role, you’ll contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our claims by addressing complex business problems.
Remote work allowed. If you prefer an in-office environment and live within the Cleveland, OH area, you’re welcome to work in the office as often as you would like.
Must-have Qualifications
• A minimum of four years of analytical work experience.
• {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience.
• {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience.
• {OR} Successful completion of Progressive’s Analyst Boot Camp and Progressive’s Internal Analyst Trainee program and a minimum one year analytical work experience.
• This position requires online pre-employment testing for external candidates.
Preferred Skills
• High proficiency in programming languages (e.g., R, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with leaders and peers
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting
Compensation
• $63,800 – $102,800/year depending on position level and experience
• Gainshare bonus up to 24 to 30% (depending on level) of your eligible earnings based on company performance
