Automotive Web Chat Sales Specialist

Description

As a Web Chat Agent, you will engage in online conversations, assisting individuals with inquiries regarding automotive and recreational vehicle sales, service, finance, and general dealership questions. Your goal will be to represent our dealer clients positively online, converting interactions into leads that can help generate revenue from website traffic.

Responsibilities
• Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat.
• Provide accurate information about products and services through online chat.
• Narrow down on appointment details to schedule bookings.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the continuously evolving products and services.
• Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review.
• Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review.

Qualifications
• Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry preferred but not mandatory.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM; 40 WPM or above is preferred.
• Basic internet and Windows-based computer skills.
• Strong ability to multitask; gaming experience may be beneficial.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Fast typing skills are a plus; minimum 35 WPM required.
• Must pass a background check.

• Experience in an office setting, customer interaction, call center, or customer service environment is preferred (2+ years experience).
