Medical Records Specialist

Tandym Group has several immediate opportunities for Medical Records Specialists with a client in Texas. These contracts will be 100% remote. These resources will be focused on duplicate records identification and merging.

Job Responsibilities:
• Conducts double number verifications and merges.
• Assigns new medical record numbers within the Epic system and inputs patient demographic details as needed.
• Demonstrates proficiency in researching patient identities and histories, as well as executing record merging processes.
• Utilizes Epic software effectively.

Must-Have Skills:
• Proficient in Epic software.
• Experience in matching and merging duplicate records.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Prior experience in Health Information Management (HIM).
• Experience with patient registration processes.
