Senior Director, Data Science – Permanent – Biotech (Remote)

Proclinical is seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Data Science to spearhead data-driven projects at a leading biotech!

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and expand the data science team.
• Design machine learning models for analyzing biological data.
• Collaborate with various departments to align data initiatives.
• Implement scalable MLOps solutions.
• Work with multimodal datasets, such as flow cytometry and microscopy, to convert biological insights into practical strategies.

Qualifications:
• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience, & 5+ years leadership experience .
• Expertise in machine learning and computer vision applied to biological data.
• Strong knowledge of MLOps frameworks and cloud computing platforms like AWS.

Compensation: Salary: $250,000 – $280,000 plus package.
