Ceipal ID: DOI_HD736_BT Job Description: The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), National Operations Center (NOC) has
a requirement for data entry and analysis associated with the BLM’s Abandoned Mines and Site Cleanup
Module (AMSCM) database. Specifically, the requirement is for two (2) remote data entry technicians, with
knowledge of databases and geographic information system (GIS) platforms in accordance with attachment 1
of this RFQ. Responsibilities:
• Work with Task Manager to input, update, delete, and review AMSCM data
• Work with Task Manager and other specialists (District/field office specialists) to translate digital/paper files into data for entry into AMSCM
• Support the data integrity of the program by providing Quality Assurance Quality Control (QA/QC) of inputted data
• Work with Task Manager to document and improve the overall quality of AMSCM data
• Generate digital map products using AMSCM related data
• Assist with data sharing and data management activities
• Coordinate with the Task Manager for data management as follows:
• Review/input data to AMSCM, for approximately 41,000 sites* and 70,000 features*
• Re-evaluate and update approximately 50,000 features nationwide
• Check and verify approximately 130,000 feature records for accuracy
• Check and verify approximately 60,000 site records for accuracy
