This is a REMOTE contract role (w2) for a Texas state agency. Contract will be approx
10 months (10/1/2024 – 8/31/2025). Only candidates living in Texas will be
considered.
Pay – $83/hr
Overview
Agency requires the services of PeopleSoft HCM
developer. The developer will be part of a dedicated CAPPS HCM upgrade project team.
The core duties include analyzing and modifying system codes and creating technical
design documents to meet batch processes and interface requirements. In addition,
troubleshooting and debugging system issues as needed.
Must demonstrate and excel in communicating and working with a diverse team with
collaboration tools competently in a remote work environment. Also, must be able to
estimate work, set deadlines, and communicate effectively.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• 8 years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
• 8 years of experience developing in PeopleCode and Application Packages
• 8 years of experience developing Application Engine, COBOL, and SQR
programs
• 8 years of experience developing Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
• 8 years of advanced SQL and PL/SQL hands-on experience and HTTP protocol
• 8 years of experience with RHEL OS Scripting
• 8 years of experience with Oracle Database 12c+
• 8 years of experience development BI Publisher Reports and PS Queries
• 2 years of experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA)
