This role is a hybrid work arrangement. Work schedule to be discussed with Hiring Manager according to the guidelines defined by the department.
This is a temporary position for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

You have a head for strategy and relationship-building skills within an organization and with outside partners. You’re as comfortable building budget forecasts as you are presenting to a group of senior executives.
Your Role
This is a newly created, bilingual (English and French) position that will lead the management of a new program to enable AI innovation across the Corporation, support the planning and delivery of the Enterprise AI Strategy, and coordinate related initiatives. This role works internally to plan, coordinate and manage the various elements of strategy delivery and the new program development; and also externally to initiate and develop key relationships within the industry. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative with the ability to work across departments to get things done.
Responsibilities:
Program Planning and Administration
• Lead the development of the program operating model including establishing relevant roadmaps, project tracking, toolkits/ templates, and communication flows with project stakeholders.
• Develop schedules and timelines, identify risks, monitor and maintain project activities.
• Continually manage and monitor budget.
• Oversee and manage resources during the course of the program.
• Coordinate and administer all day-to-day activities to ensure smooth operation of the program.
• Monitor project outcomes and how they align to strategic objectives.
• Compile reports to management on a regular basis or ad hoc on request.
• Ensure all stakeholders are kept informed of key dates and information requirements.
• Develop internal educational materials (eg: a toolkit/ playbook) for prospective and ongoing program participants including case studies, best practices and how-to guides.
• Identify opportunities to expand the program, and work with internal communications teams to promote the Program internally.
• Build awareness on how other organizations and industries approach AI innovation in Canada and abroad, with trends and best practices; make recommendations for CBC/Radio-Canada.
• Perform post-mortems to improve processes and communication internally, make ongoing recommendations to improve the process.
Strategic Planning
• Coordinate the annual and quarterly planning activities for the Enterprise AI Strategy.
• Plan, implement and coordinate projects and initiatives that support the implementation of the enterprise AI strategy for CBC/Radio-Canada.
• Build and manage an inventory of AI initiatives across the organization, support the exchange of information and learnings across departments.
• Work with communications teams and across departments to build awareness and literacy around AI topics and programs.
• Lead the creation of internal resource materials and toolkits where required.
• Serve as a liaison between business functions and responsible AI practices.
• Support the development and integration of responsible AI practices and guidelines into new AI-related initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all of the departments of the organization.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary degree.
• 3+ years project management experience.
• Proven track record of leading innovation or cross-platform initiatives, preferably in the tech space.
• Working familiarity with consumer/B2B AI and generative AI tools and platforms.
• Demonstrable experience managing planning and reporting activities.
• Demonstrable experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing budgets and allocations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English and French (reading, writing, speaking).
• Problem solving and creative thinking.
• Strategic thinking.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace Suite.
• Experience working with media or public institutions considered an asset.
