Our well-established client is currently seeking a Software Development Manager to join their growing team. This is a full-time REMOTE opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Software Development Manager will include:
• Lead and oversee the entire application development life cycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
• Translate business requirements into actionable strategies.
• Guiding the technical design process.
• Supervising test case development, coding, and debugging processes.
• Facilitating peer-review sessions and managing deployment strategies.
• Directing sprint planning and coordinating post-deploy support.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation to ensure project transparency and sustainability.
• Lead multiple developer teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Act as a pivotal communication link between project stakeholders and the development team, facilitating clarity and progress.
• Participate in user acceptance testing, mentor software developers, and maintain detailed change logs for compliance.
Qualifications of the Software Development Manager:
• Strong background in transactional web development, with experience in eCommerce or complex web applications.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services, demonstrating proficiency in leveraging AWS for efficient solutions.
• Proven experience in architecting scalable web applications and RESTful APIs, prioritizing performance, and security.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and fostering team collaboration.
• Strong project management abilities, including Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ software development experience, including 3 years managing development teams.
• Proficiency in various programming languages and technologies, such as PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Java, C#, and SQL/TSQL, with a quick adaptability to new technologies.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with version control systems, specifically TFS and Git.
• Comprehensive experience in database management and development, including MS SQL, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Continuous learning mindset.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective leadership and collaboration within diverse teams.
• Proven time management and organizational abilities, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Passion for driving projects to successful completion through teamwork.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams beyond software development.
• Excellent workload management skills, maintaining productivity under high-pressure situations.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly up to $135,000.
