Duties to include: Partner with Health Equity analytics leader and other team members to execute on prioritized health equity analytic roadmap; Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to integrated datasets of socio-demographic, consumer, geographic, operational, and clinical pharmacy care data features to recognize patterns of health inequity and identify opportunities to impact; Design, build, scale and automate analytic processes and machine learning models to monitor for health inequities across pharmacy care services and evaluate the effectiveness of changes to operational and pharmacy care delivery on reducing inequity; Assist in the evaluation of machine learning models to ensure no unintended bias in their predictions; Work with Optum Rx product teams to design and evaluate new health equity solutions in the market; Produce, interpret, and visualize data analysis results; Influence strategy to collect and analyze data related to health equity across Optum; and Consult with internal and external clients to communicate and present analytic insights and opportunities.
