The Edge Distribution Services team (EDS) works on innovative digital distribution technology. Our Windows Update service reaches over a billion devices keeping them secure and up to date. We are looking for Software Engineer II to work on our content distribution system that serves Microsoft customers across the world.
A Software Engineer II in this position will work in several areas across our stack, including infrastructure, manageability, content distribution and security. You will get to be involved in the design, implementation, and live site support of your feature areas working with peers, partners, and customers to deliver results. You will demonstrate an ability to learn and adopt relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes to leverage in your solutions.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Software Engineering IC3 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 – $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 – $208,800 per year.
