Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hotel maintenance, general building or property maintenance, or engineering leadership roles
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire, delegate tasks, and resolve conflict effectively
  • Extensive knowledge of hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Budgeting and financial management skills to ensure efficient resource allocation and project completion within budget
  • Proficiency in computer skills and maintenance management software
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and team members

Responsibilities
  • Maintain Excellence: Oversee the consistent cleanliness of all public areas, whilst working to our company standards
  • Resource Coordination: Order essential chemicals, equipment, and uniforms to keep our operations running smoothly
  • Report Handling: Ensure all housekeeping reports, including daily discrepancy reports, are accurately shared with relevant departments
  • Interdepartmental Communication: Liaise effectively with all internal departments including Reception and Maintenance, to ensure proper room allocations
  • Staff Development: Assist in training and developing all housekeeping staff to uphold our high standards
