As the Assistant General Operations Manager at The Historic Park Inn Hotel, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve managing staff, enhancing guest satisfaction, and maintaining the high standards that our hotel is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services.
- Staff Supervision: Manage, train, and motivate staff to ensure excellent service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Guest Relations: Address guest concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Financial Management: Assist in budget preparation, expense control, and financial reporting.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock of necessary supplies.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing events hosted at the hotel.
- Reporting: Prepare and present operational reports to the General Manager and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage.
- Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and expense control.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
