As the Deputy General Manager at The Historic Park Inn Hotel, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all departments run smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership and management skills will be crucial in maintaining the hotel’s high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Assist the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate hotel staff, ensuring they provide excellent service and meet the hotel’s standards.
  • Guest Relations: Address guest concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budget preparation, expense control, and financial reporting to ensure the hotel’s profitability.
  • Compliance: Ensure the hotel complies with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of events, conferences, and special functions held at the hotel.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels for various hotel supplies and amenities.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
