As the General Manager’s Deputy at The Historic Park Inn Hotel, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in all aspects of hotel operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and assisting in the overall management of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Assist the General Manager in daily operations, including managing staff and ensuring smooth functioning of all departments.
  • Guest Relations: Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and mentor staff, ensuring they adhere to hotel policies and provide excellent service.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle various administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and coordinating with different departments.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of services provided to guests and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Financial Oversight: Assist in budget management, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
  • Event Coordination: Help in planning and executing events and functions held at the hotel.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.
