Job Title: Security Engineer
Job Description
This position is in the security area, focusing on evaluating solutions for application security process management. The team integrates data from the backend of the interface through APIs and uses Coverity tools to trigger warnings and create JIRA issues. The goal is to integrate Black Duck scans into the pipeline. The company develops and writes its own tools for customized functions. The candidate will develop software to create these tools.
Hard Skills
• Knowledge in ASPM (Application Security Posture Management)
• Knowledge of Black Duck and Coverity tools and APIs
• Ability to interface and integrate with Jira to create and update issues
• Ability to develop dashboard visualizations of ASPM-related information
• Proficiency in Python
Soft Skills
• Ability to share knowledge with the development community
• Capability to gather and implement feedback
• Effective communication during demonstrations and fire drills
• Attention to security trends and vulnerabilities
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Environment
Preference is for someone in Ottawa, but this role can be fully remote.
