Full Stack Engineer (Golang, MongoDB, and Angular

Job Opportunity: Full Stack Developer (6-Month Contract to Hire) 100% REMOTE

Position Overview: We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with experience in Go, MongoDB, Angular, CI/CD pipelines, and REST API development for a 6-month contract-to-hire role.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Embedded on a development scrum team with 10 other engineers and a scrum master.
• Work in 2-week sprints to develop new TruCare Cloud capabilities to enhance member services.
• Engage in both backend development (50%), such as REST APIs, and front-end UI development (50%).
• Conduct peer reviews of team members’ code.
• Collaborate with the team to devise and implement solutions.
• Partner with the team to uphold agile methodologies and technical best practices.

• Measured on learning and growth, productivity, problem-solving, code quality, collaboration, and communication.

First Day Experience:
• The new hire will be paired with a team member/mentor to learn about the business and applications.

Relevant Job Titles or Background:
• Full Stack Developer

Future Opportunities:
• Potential internal/external roles within various development teams, including Provider, UMV, and other Cloud teams.

Required Skills/Experience:
• 2+ years of experience with an Object-Oriented language such as Java, C++, C#, Ruby, or Python.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful Web services.
• Experience with MongoDB or another No-SQL database.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Go experience.
• MongoDB experience.
• Angular experience.
• CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins or Harness.
• Experience with Agile, GitLab, SQL Server, and AWS/Cloud technologies is a plus.

Education Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in the field or a related area.
