Job Description
This role will work cross-functionally to maximize the value the US Operations group, primarily in working closely with our Sales Incentive team across our company’s Animal Health US Commercial business unit. This primarily includes helping to facilitate and understand annual business unit goals, to define incentive program functionality and maintain, design, develop and enhance incentive plans over time. The role will be hands-on and require demonstrated experience in maintaining the Sales Incentive Plans and support the overall animal health commercial organization for all sales reporting.
Sales Incentive Plans:
• Administer and manage the company’s incentive compensation programs, ensuring all calculations and payments are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Human Resources, to establish and maintain effective incentive compensation processes and policies.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s incentive plans, including metrics, targets, and payout structures.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure accurate and timely data collection, validation, and integration into the compensation system.
• Perform regular audits and analysis of incentive compensation data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
• Provide support and guidance to sales representatives and managers regarding incentive compensation plans, calculations, and payouts.
• Generate reports and provide analysis on incentive compensation performance, including tracking individual and team performance against targets.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends related to incentive compensation administration, recommending improvements to current processes and systems.
• Work closely with the IT department to enhance and optimize the compensation system, ensuring its accuracy, functionality, and usability.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of incentive compensation plans, payments, and related documentation.
Database Development and Reporting:
• Build Database views for master data and sales reporting via internal applications and data visualization tools
• Support Spotfire/Power BI dashboards in self-service mode primarily fixing data issues and enhancing backend database views in collaboration with IT
• Create and automate SQL scripts for providing reports/ data to internal (Sales, Marketing, Finance) and Pricing Portal for Distribution
• Create UNIX scripts for automating delivery of operational reports
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a business focus.
Required Skills and Experience:
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a Commercial Operations role.
• Experience working with tools and applications such as SQL Loader, Toad, Workbench for AWS Redshift, SQL Developer for Oracle
• Proficiency in using Programming Languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle DDL, Unix Shell Scripts
• Knowledge of Oracle Databases
• Exposure to Data Stewardship tools like Informatica
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills balanced with a creative mindset
• Ability to facilitate continuous improvement efforts collaboratively with team and peers
• Self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Work collaboratively across teams to design and build solutions with the IT department
• Provide support to other team members to trouble shoot and resolve data related issues
• Provide end user support for handling data accuracy and quality related questions and for escalating technical issues to appropriate IT support individuals

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$101,100.00 – $159,100.00
